Top recommendations to correctly use the inflatable paddle board

A few tips to correctly use the inflatable paddle board. Sun Damage: Sunny days are often the nicest days to take your SUP out, but it’s best not to store your inflatable paddle board in direct sunlight long-term. Over time, direct sunlight can fade the colors of your SUP and even cause damage to the PVC material of the board itself. Time: The longer you have your board, the more wear and tear it’ll be exposed to. Eventually every inflatable will need to be replaced but don’t worry, with proper care and storage you’ll be able to use your board at peak performance for years.

Wave Riding vs Paddling: What will you be doing on your inflatable SUP? If the answer is that you will just be casually paddling on flat water, you will be looking for a larger and more stable board. Something that is easy to paddle, very stable and you can even do SUP Yoga on. We highly recommend the Pakaloa SUP. Wanting to hit the waves and surf? Then you need a smaller, less stable board, that will be better on the surf. It needs to be manoeuvrable and able to do sharp turns. You also need to be able to punch it through the surf zone to get out to the backline, so you don’t want a large inflatable SUP. We would recommend the Pakaloa SUP. The last category is for more advanced paddlers, being SUP racing and downwind paddles. If you plan on racing you need a very specific type of inflatable SUP. This inflatable SUP needs to be long and narrow for speed, it will be more unstable at first, but as you get used to paddling it, this will get better.

Stamina: Sometimes every day tasks just seem too hard. They use too much energy, take too much effort and use too much muscle power. Building up your stamina makes it easier to get through the day and get everything done. The overall effect of paddle boarding helps to build up your stamina. Strengthening your muscles will make it easier to do physical activities, while the cardio workout helps develop your endurance. Reducing stress levels is a great help with stamina too, as it gives you a clear mind work on any problems you may have. The combination of an improved cardiovascular system, stronger body and less stress, results in much more stamina.

You don’t need to worry about the robustness of your SUP because we are offering a lifetime warranty for this inflatable stand up paddle board. Another inflatable stand up paddle board trick: Paddling with your core: I.E. Don’t use your arms. This may sound a little weird at first but paddling is best done by your core. These are the strongest muscles of your body and provide the most effective power for your paddle stroke. Standing up tall and using just your arms to paddle, will be very tiring and you won’t get much power. Watch this video for more on paddle technique: Stand up paddle board basics – Using Your Core.
