Best rated Morocco holiday attractions

Morocco travel destinations 2023: Fez possesses everything you need out of a 1,200-year-old Maghreb city in the Middle Eastern deserts. It’s among the most exciting places in Morocco where you’ll find a Fès el-Bali, which happens to be the historic heart of this city with a deep and mysterious labyrinth of lanes and staircases set amidst colorful tanneries and cottages will blow your mind. Another great attraction of this place is the elegant boulevards of Ville Nouvelle where the French had created stunning palm-fringed avenues and refreshing fountains alongside lavish hotels and Parisian-flavoured streets. See additional details at morocco all inclusive resorts.

During your trip in a hot air balloon Marrakech, you will have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the red sand, palm trees, and the beautiful Atlas mountains. With only a few other people and a pilot who knows a lot about the area. You can take in the sights as you soar through the air. Transfers from and to your hotel are included in your tour price. The flight will last one hour, and after a gradual descent back to land, head to a local village for mint tea and home-baked bread in a local Berber household. Following tea and bread, head back to Marrakech.

The scenic Ourika Valley is popular with both locals and tourists. There are several walking routes through the valley, along the river, and in the mountains, though for many, the seven-level waterfalls are the highlight of a trip. Climbing the lower levels requires a bit of a scramble up rocks, but the track to the upper levels is less challenging. In addition to lovely views, visitors can also experience Berber life, go rafting, and take a dip in the refreshing water. Within the Middle Atlas Mountains, Ifrane is often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. The charming city, with its Swiss-style chalets, is a prime gateway to the nearby Ifrane National Park. Hiking opportunities through cedar forests abound, and you may spot Barbary macaques.

Djemaa El-Fna is the highlight of any visit to Marrakech and one of the top tourist attractions in Morocco. By day this square at the heart of the medina is largely filled with snake charmers and people with monkeys, as well as some of the more common stalls. As the day progresses the entertainments on offer change: the snake charmers depart, and in the afternoon and evening the square becomes more crowded, with story-tellers, magicians, and peddlers of traditional medicines. As dark descends Djemaa El-Fna fills with dozens of food-stalls, and the crowds are at their height.

This golden-stoned adobe kasbah (fortress) thrusts dramatically out of the earth amid scenery that wows all who visit. It’s a fairy-tale place, and unsurprisingly the orange-hued turrets and curvy lanes inside have become a favorite film location for Hollywood due to the surreal beauty of the place. You can even sleep within the kasbah if you want the full Ait Ben Haddou experience, though those who like their creature comforts should be aware that there’s no electricity within the fortress itself. If you’re heading out into Morocco’s inland regions, it should definitely be on your must-visit list. Try to come in the early morning or later in the afternoon, as the tour bus crowds descend from around 10am to 2pm.

This 16th-century burial ground is home to 66 members of the Saadian dynasty, which ruled over Marrakesh between 1524 and 1668. The tombs here include that of the ruler Al-Mansour, his successors, and their closest family members. It’s a rambling, atmospheric place, with the mausoleums set amid a rather overgrown garden. In particular, the main mausoleum (where Moulay Yazid is buried) has a fine surviving mihrab (prayer niche). The Saadian Tombs were walled up by their Alawite successors and were only rediscovered in the early 20th century.

Get ready with Morocco trip travel to explore the spectacular natural environments and rural landscapes south of Marrakech. You will cross beautiful river valleys; see unique historical sites made famous by movies, and sleep in an authentic camp under the stars, before admiring the sunrise over the dunes. Zagora is an historic city in Morocco, it is a place that is inextricably linked with the Sahara Desert. Named after the nearby mountain, Zagora was once a stronghold of the Almoravid people, and their legacy can still be seen in the surrounding hills. It used to be a meeting point of commercial caravans in Africa. Zagora is a perfect place for chilling and resting in desert hub, also, to have the perfect camel ride ever and to see a sky full of stars.

Who is Lisa Ly and some of her fashion creation and writing ideas

Who is Lisa Ly and some of her writing accomplishments: The book features her struggles with setting boundaries, navigating through the dating scene in different stages of her life, and chronicling her pursuit of love and addiction to mind-blowing sex. Interestingly, the book also showcases her adventures and how she discovered the different behaviors of different men. On this journey, she experienced love, lust, and heartbreaks. Did Lisa find love, or did she find herself in the process? Find more info on Chronicles of a Bad & Bougie Bitch.

Lisa Ly is a multi-talented individual with a broad range of focus areas. She published a book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. In addition to that, she is also a swimsuit designer who is coming out with her brand-new line very soon. Her brand is named Bronzed Babe Swim, and it stands out as a perfect introduction to her unique style and creative vision.

Sometimes, we all feel like no one can relate as we all have individual lives, but this world is so big that someone out there can share your pain, happiness, etc. Someone out there lives a life that may be parallel to yours, and it does help to share my experience and not feel completely alone. Ultimately, we all want the same thing: to be heard, understood, accepted as we are, and loved!

I’ve always wanted to become an author, as writing was an outlet. I had a story to tell that many could relate to. After a tough breakup, I realized that I reverted back to being a caretaker emotionally and physically to the man in my life. I wasn’t working on the version of me that was destined to be and do more. I was determined to no longer let fear and criticism of who I knew I could become hinder my growth. I had to sit with myself and allow my pain to become my most prominent driving force to overcome my fear of sharing my story. Life is hard, and we all have our own unique stories that are worth being heard. I wanted to ensure that I contributed mine to the world.

Alright, Lisa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear how you think where to draw the line in terms of asking friends and family to support your business – what’s okay and what’s over the line? I recently became an author and will launch my swimsuit line soon, and it feels that strangers are more supportive than friends/family. But I have a few close friends that I consider my family, and their support has been fantastic. They have been my biggest supporters and sounding board, a safe space to feel like I can be myself. For that, I am grateful. On the flip side, I have family members that didn’t even congratulate me on my book release. I’m learning to focus on the positives and not the negatives.

In conclusion, only a few people are as versatile, dynamic, and talented as Lisa. She is a true go-getter and an inspiration for people everywhere, especially women seeking empowerment and telling their stories. Much like she does every day through her books, clothes, activities, and simply by being herself with no compromise and absolute fearlessness! Her message to women everywhere is to be fearless and be yourself! This way, you will be able to shine like the star and enjoy the life you truly deserve.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson? One of my biggest lessons is learning to set boundaries and learning what those were. Being a Cambodian woman, I was raised to appease and accommodate. I was raised to sacrifice my own happiness to ensure the happiness of others first. That mentality has led me to not know boundaries and caused many disappointments in relationships, whether friendships and/or romantic. I didn’t want to say no or would sacrifice a little of my own happiness to make sure the other person’s needs were met. That was a recipe for disaster and pain.

What sets Bronzed Babe Swim apart from the others? As a consumer of swimwear, as a mother of two, my body has definitely changed. I wanted to make swimwear that was super fashionable but still felt comfortable and hold us up in all needed areas. I also wanted to make the swimsuits so it does not cut into our body to provide support. I’ve had that issue with so many brands. It may look suitable for photos, but I would have to take it off immediately; I couldn’t just wear it for the entire time at the beach/pool. I wanted a good, fitting, and fashionable swimsuit that feels good and still turn heads! Find more info at Lisa Ly.

Lisa has an exciting and one-of-a-kind background. She moved to the United States from her native country, Cambodia when she was only 6. Based in California, she put herself through college and obtained a BA in business management from Menlo College in Atherton, CA. This was a springboard for Lisa to kickstart a very successful career in industries as diverse as technology and finance. For over 20 years, Lisa has worked in corporate America, building her family and raising her two children in the Los Angeles area. Today, she is ready to take a leap and focus on an actual passion project, launching a stunning swimwear collection and reaching out to the world as a published author.
