Trappan är så pass lång att den är med i Guiness Rekordbok, vilket är en välförtjänt plats. Skulle du bestämma dig för att bestiga denna trappa får du räkna med närmre en timmes aktiv gång. Det finns dock inget som säger att du måste gå upp för trappan för att kunna säga att du har gått i världens längsta trappa, vi rekommenderar därför att ta den på vägen ned!

Sist men inte minst är den möjligtvis viktigaste aspekten att ha i åtanke. En aspekt som är direkt kopplad till säkerhet, komfort och till viss del design, nämligen stegförhållanden. En säker och komfortabel trappa bör inte innehålla några variationer när det kommer till steghöjd eller stegdjup. Istället ska trappor karaktäriseras av kontinuitet utan några överraskningar, detta för att kunna bibehålla samma gångtempo. Inte nog för att det är behagligare att gå i en trappa med samma stegförhållanden från början till slut, men det är också betydligt säkrare.
