Vietnam tours and motorbike adventures

Vietnam attractions and top destinations selection and motorcycles adventures: Beautiful Hoi An is the most atmospheric city in Vietnam, with bags of surviving historic architecture. The old town quarter is a joy to explore, packed to the brim with well-preserved merchant houses that hark back to Hoi An’s trading center heyday of the 15th century, when the town was a major meeting point for Japanese and Chinese merchants who flocked here for the local silks. Plenty of the old merchant houses have been opened to the public, so you can get a taste of these times. The best is 17th-century Tan Ky House, with fascinating architectural and decorative elements. Hoi An’s major symbol is the delightful Japanese Bridge at the western end of Tran Phu Street, while nearby, the Assembly Hall of the Fujian Chinese Congregation is the old town’s most highly decorated temple. There are numerous small pagodas and museums dotted about town, but Hoi An’s true charm is found in simply rambling the old town streets admiring the well-preserved facades.

Ha Long Bay is situated in north Vietnam round a 120 kilometer long coast line and is literally translated as “Bay of Descending Dragons”. The top tourist attraction in Vietnam, Ha Long Bay features thousands of islands, each topped with thick jungle vegetation, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Several of the islands are hollow, with enormous caves, others islands include lakes and some support floating villages of fishermen.

Mountainous areas occupy three-fourths of Vietnam’s territory, of which 85 percent are the foothills of taller peaks. These areas are not only an on-road and off-road paradise for bikers but also endowed by nature for captivating beauty, unique regional cultures, friendly locals, and indescribably delicious local dishes. Most of our enduro tours are organized in the North, Northwest, Northeast, on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, Ha Giang, Sapa, and Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia borders crossing,… but with a unique track designed by BM Travel Adventure. Singletrack riding on the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail is something very special in Vietnam, you will experience the roads that haven’t even appeared on Google maps yet. You will get to see real wild Vietnam with stunning scenery and enjoy incredible mountain top views. See even more info at Vietnam enduro tours.

We were a group of 12 and did an 8-day Vietnam motorbike tour. The BM Travel team took amazing care of us and brought us to the best and hidden locations in Vietnam. We stayed in local homestay and ate amazing food. The off-road riding was epic and motorcycles worked perfectly. We’ll be going back for another round for sure! We were a large group with lots of requests. Binh and his team always provided an excellent service, even in the most difficult conditions (rain, mud, mechanical issues). We had a great time even off the bikes (Mot, ai, ba, dzo!) Motorcycle are recent Honda in good conditions. The video of our trip provided by BM Travel is of Hollywood quality.

The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is an intriguing relic of Vietnam’s history and, signifying its historical and cultural importance, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Standing 40 metres high, the central flag tower is the most recognizable feature of the Imperial Citadel and is often used as a symbol of Hanoi. This was the centre of ancient Hanoi and served as the political centre for eight centuries. Located in Ba Dinh, the Imperial Citadel houses foundations of old palaces, relics, ancient roads, ponds and wells.

Lima, Peru attractions and top destinations selection with places to stay

Lima, Peru travel attractions: Begin at the Parque Municipal, an open space surrounded by colonial architecture. From there walk down Zapita, over Puente de Los Suspiros (Bridge of Sighs), and out to the cliff lookout. The private Museo de Arte Colonial Pedro de Osma is housed in the historic mansion Palacio de Osma. The museum’s exceptional collection of colonial art from around Peru includes paintings, sculptures, metalwork, stonework, silver, and furniture.

One of the best left-hand point breaks in the world is only a short ride away, in Chorrillos. If the swell is right, you’ll score some epic surf. The Miraflores boardwalk runs parallel to the Pacific Ocean, providing you with miles of stunning views. Rent a bike from one of the many rental companies and enjoy a bike ride up and down the coast. Lima is home to many fine religious buildings, but the San Francisco Monastery is one of the best. Providing an oasis of calm in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city, its rooms showcase beautifully preserved Baroque architecture, gilded altars, and works of religious art. Don’t miss the monastery’s library with its massive religious texts and Harry Potter-like ambiance. Easily containing the most comprehensive array of pre-Colombian ceramics, Museo Larco has, however, become known for one particular part of its collection: the Erotic Gallery. This room has left more than a few tourists blushing due to its display of ceramics depicting unabashedly X-rated scenes. For the more serious historians, the museum has an exceptional range of more family-friendly pottery, spanning cultures as diverse as the Chimu, Nazca, Wari, and Moche, as well as being home to the greatest of museum crowd-pleasers: mummies.

Chifa Brasil – Corner of Brasil and Junin. Chifa is chifa is chifa, but this place became one of our favorites, particularly for the zesty-sweet Chicken Limon Kai, the frozen beers, and the great prices. They’ve also got a couple big TVs that they’re happy to turn to whatever game you’re itching to watch. Lorenzo – Corner of Sucre and Salaverry. They have both a set menu and a la carte items, and though their set menu is a few soles more than most it’s incredibly delicious and filling. These guys also provide some of the best table service in all of Peru (which was a rare treat to find). See extra images of this amazing ocean view penthouse on @AmazingPeruPenthouse on Facebook. The building blends Moorish, Andalusian, Asian and Criollo features, with even some materials coming from Spain. Two dark wood balconies grace the front of this Spanish Baroque building, while the interior features high ceilings and Sevillian tiles. The palace was built in the early 1700s s a home for the nobleman who served as treasurer for the Royal Spanish fleet. Today, it houses the offices of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, meaning it is generally not open for public visits.

Tropical islands as beautiful as Micronesia always have one thing in common: they are encircled by vibrant coral reefs. Dive sites like the Blue Wall make Micronesia one of the top destinations in the South Pacific when it comes to diving. There are also plenty of WWII wrecks that you can explore, too. Summer is also a good time for spotting schools of the endangered scalloped hammerhead shark. Read extra details on https://www.tauchkurshurghada.com/.

Top destinations in Malaysia

Malaysia is an amazing location, so much history, a must see for any travel enthusiast. Melaka Menara Taming Sari (Taming Sari Tower) officially opened for business on the 18th of April 2008, Menara Taming Sari is the first and only gyro tower in Malaysia so far. Measuring 110 metres in height, its revolving structure offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Malacca town and beyond. Built in 1896, The Baba-Nyonya Heritage Museum is a collection of three beautifully restored houses arranged to resemble a conventional 19th-century Baba-Nyonya residence. Excellent examples of Chinese-Palladian style, these townhouses were transformed into a traditional Peranakan museum in later years; connected by a common covered footway, the museum features hand-painted tiles, elaborately carved teakwood outer swing doors and a sturdier internal door which provides extra security.

This nature reserve borders an old Dutch colonial fort and the paddy fields of the old town of Sekinchan. Loved by history and nature lovers, many flock to this mangrove swamp to watch huge colonies of fireflies during the mating season, or to spot the elusive leopard and playful river otters. The Mulu Caves are some of the most expansive natural formations you will ever see in the world of spelunking. These hollow mountains that claim to have the biggest accessible caves in the world have housed cave life in their limestone rooms for millions of years. Depending on the season, millions of bats and swiftlets roost in the caves, providing a spectacle on a par with swarms of locusts.

Another best place in Malaysia to fulfill your dream of exploring a tropical rainforest is Gunung Mulu National Park. Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, GMNP is situated in Borneo and is home to 3500 species of vascular plants and exceptional 109 species of palm. What catches the eye in the national park are the 295 kms stretch of caves that reflect a geological history of more than 1.5 million years. The Sarawak Chamber, which is 600 m by 415 m and 80 m high, is the largest known cave chamber in the world and is housed in Gunung Mulu National Park. Aside this, canyons, wild rivers, rainforest-covered mountains, and limestone pinnacles all add to the mesmerizing beauty of this must see national park in Malaysia.

Take a walk on the wild side, to the days where cowboys and Red Indians ruled the Western frontier. Meet with cowboys and cowgirls in the authentically-built cowboy town and enjoy old-styled salons and thrilling rides for the whole family! Get wet when you ride the Grand Canyon Rapid Falls, sitting in giant tubes while swirling around the 350 m river. The Niagra Falls Flume Ride is another major attraction where you and your friends get into logs and drop down a steep hill into a 260 m long river. Other great rides include the Buffalo Bill Coaster, Butch Cassidy’s Trail and Colorado Splash. See extra info on Homestay Melaka with Swimming pool.

The Cameron Highlands is one of Malaysia’s most extensive hill stations, first developed by the British in the 1920s. It has a population of more than 34,000 people consisting of Malays, Chinese, Indians and other ethnic groups. The Cameron Highlands is renowned for its trails. They lead visitors through the forest to waterfalls and other tranquil spots. Apart from its jungle walks, the sanctuary is also known for its tea plantations and visitors can book several “tea factory” tours.

Top tailor made tours in Sri Lanka and the Kandy Esala Perahera

Visit Sri Lanka for an incredible vacation tour ?Sri Lank safaris and holiday tours … an incredible travel location that we will focus in this article. Udawalawe National Park: is far less crowded than Yala, which completely changes the experience, making Udawalawe a more satisfying safari. When we were there, we barely saw more than one or two jeeps. Whenever we spotted animals, we were by ourselves and felt so immersed and captivated by the moment. At one point, a small group of elephants with 2 babies crossed the path just in front of our jeep. They were so close, we could almost touch them. They stayed there for around 20 minutes, just eating and socialising with each other. This was one of the most magical moments of our safari at Udawalawe.

Created to protect the watershed of the enormous Udawalawe Reservoir, this park, just south of the central mountains, has extensive stretches of grassland as well as scrub jungle and riverine forest. It’s the best in the continent for observing Asian elephants in the wild; in fact elephant sightings are virtually guaranteed, even if you only go on one game drive. Otherwise, the park is poor for viewing mammals, but birdwatchers will enjoy the presence of fabulously named raptors such as the changeable hawk eagle, serpent eagle and grey-headed fish eagle.

History of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha: When the war-torn situation of India threatens the existence of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha, king Guhasiwa decided to take the relic to Sri Lanka for safekeeping. King himself assigns this important job to his son-in-law prince Dantha and his own daughter princess Hemamala. Their ship secretly landed to Lankapattana during the reign of Sirimeghavanna of Anuradhapura in 4th century BC and handed over the tooth relic to king King himself. The King Sirimeghavanna enshrined it Meghagiri Vihara, now it is called as Isurumuniya Viharaya. Safeguarding the relic became king’s responsibility, overtime custodianship of the relic came to signify the right to rule. Time passed and reigning monarchs used to build tooth relic temples considerably close to their royal palace. Last Sinhalese King of Sri Lanka, Vira Narendra Sinha of Kandy built the present-day temple Meghagiri Vihara, First Tooth relic temple, present-day Isurumuniya Viharaya Famous painting of princess Hemamali and prince Danthaat at Kalani vihara. Present-day tooth relic temple Sri Dalada Maligawa Casket of tooth relic of Lord Buddha. See additional details Book Perahera Seats.

The south coast of Sri Lanka is a surfers paradise. Around each corner is a new break being enjoyed by only a handful. A searing sun, the warmest water and endless waves makes the south the perfect surfari destination. What makes it a surfari? No matter where you travel along the coast you are never far from the jungle, monkeys, peacocks and jungle bliss. There really aren’t too many places in the world that combine both the jungle and surf in such close proximity. Hikkaduwa surf beach was one of my favorite spots to head out into the water. The town is pretty well developed having been on the tourist map for a number of decades. However, a chill vibe remains with bars and huts lining the beach, watching out over the surfers taking wave after wave. A reef sits below the break but the water is deep enough to make sure a bad landing is highly unlikely.

One of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sights is the Nine Arch Bridge in the small mountain town of Ella. This viewpoint offers spectacular panoramas of the surrounding area, which is made up of verdant greenery and tea fields. Visitors can watch trains roll over the bridge as they make their way along the Demodara Loop. Constructed in the early days of the railway expansion in Sri Lanka, the bridge is particularly impressive because it is made of cement, stone and brick, without the use of any steel. Mihintale is a mountain near the town of Anuradhapura. Its summit has much spiritual significance to the Buddhist community. It’s believed that on this mountain top a Buddhist monk named Mahinda met King Devanampiyatissa and together this meeting introduced Buddhism to the country. Monk Mahinda impressed the King with the peacefulness of the Buddhist doctrine and his contented, serene nature. The King subsequently renounced war, and went on to spread peace throughout the nation. There are several impressive religious and historical structures on and around Mihintale Mountain. Hundreds of pilgrims visit the site each year.

Musandam attractions and top destinations selection

Musandam attractions: In the Wadi Shab and Wadi Rawdha, there are small canyons cutting through the mountains. The most sought-after adventure sports here are cliff jumping, canoeing, and swimming. The valleys have trekking and trailing routes for those interested. You can even go camping at some designated spots. The mountain ride at Jabal Hareem mountain is totally unforgettable! In this route you can find fascinating fossils and ruins of the ancient civilizations. Appreciate the spellbinding view of the mountains from Sayh, a small town that comes en route. The final destination of this mountain ride is Khor Najd, a rocky terrain offering jaw-dropping views of the Indian Ocean.

The castle now has several exhibitions about the history of Musandam, an old documents exhibition, and other exhibitions displaying jewellery, clothes, weapons, kitchen equipment, and wedding decorations. There is also a Quran learning school, a model of a traditional elevated summer house, and a model of a date storage which is referred to as Bait Al Quful. In addition, there are three old traditional Omani boats that were built in Musandam, and some old canons. So, a visit to Khasab Castle is an exciting experience to discover the history of Musandam and to learn about the unique features and heritage of the governorate.

Musandam is a pristine, extremely beautiful Omani peninsula that is separated from the rest of the UAE by a strip of land. Musandam is located in the northernmost point of Oman. Bordered by two gulfs – the Arabian and the Omani, the Omani Governorate has several remarkable natural wonders and architectural treasures to share with the world. Once you’ve visited this part of the world, you will long to come back for more. Here are several things to see and do in the Musandam Peninsula area.

Khasab is the starting point for dhow cruises down the wonderful Khawr Sham, the biggest fjord in Musandam, ringed with the craggy red-rock mountains. Half a dozen tiny villages lie dotted around the khawr, accessible only by boat. You’re also likely to see pods of dolphins frolicking around the khawr, chasing boats for fun. Halfway down the khawr lies the rocky little Jazirat Telegraph (Telegraph Island), named after the telegraph station established here by the British in 1864 along the route of the London-to-Bombay submarine telegraph cable. The foundations of the old British buildings can still be seen, and the island is a popular destination on dhow cruises. Find even more info at Musandam Trip Offers.

San Blas surfing and start of 2020 offers

Adventure travel in San Blas, sailboat charters and christmas 2019 packages! San Blas adventure travel locations are a hot thing right now. The San Blas Islands are off of both Panama and Colombia on the Caribbean coast and stretch along down to the Colon region of Panama. The name is really Guna Yala, after a name change in 2011 but as most people search San Blas, I will call them that in this article. The region is the territory of the Guna people, short for Guna Yala. These are the indigenous people of Panama and Colombia and they actually don’t have the same rules as the rest of Panama – they had a treaty years ago to where they can govern this land in their own way (in many ways but not all). When you arrive, you pay the fees when you come into their territory and stay at their hotels. You can alternatively sail, but from what I gather it’s not entirely legal.

San Blas is one of the last pristine island archipelagos in this world with the indigenous Kuna population, which ,to this day, still lives in a very simple and happy way. We are offering an all-inclusive San Blas Day Trip that will allow our guests to visit San Blas and get a glimpse of paradise while visiting 4 of the 365 islands in San Blas. Due to our close connections with the Kuna tribe, we are able to offer you the best San Blas Day Tour experience at the lowest prices. Our third destination will be the amazing Natural San Blas Pools. Stand waist-deep in the middle of the ocean on fine sand and admire the many sea stars populating this vast, shallow area. Whether using your snorkel gear or not, everyone will be able to glimpse the amazing underwater world only a few feet below the surface.

The San Blas trip is possible all year round. But you need to know one important thing: It’s windy season from December to March. This means there will be high waves, not necessarily around San Blas since it’s sheltered by a reef, but the journey over open seas can get rough (read more about the routes below). If you get seasick easily the sailing trip might not be for you. If you are adventurous and like the idea of sailing, then yes it’s for you! See additional details at San Blas day tour.

And, as with any travel agency, we’re making a booking for you in a hotel in San Blas. We don’t operate the hotel nor are we in charge of their reservations. Once we receive a request for a reservation from yourself we will see if the hotel has a vacancy. We will then confirm a reservation for you and ask you for payment. We will ONLY confirm a reservation with you once we have received confirmation from the hotel. We ask for a payment as the hotels in San Blas usually request full payment before your arrival. We will make those payments on your behalf and obviously reconfirm your booking before your arrival. Now, as anywhere in the world, problems can arise and mistakes can be made. It has been known that a hotel can cancel at short notice, even though a deposit or full payment has been made. This is rare and we try not to work with the hotels that have done this. If this does happen then we will make all efforts to find you a new place to stay and to obtain a refund from the original hotel. As we said, San Blas is certainly not like it is back home and it doesn’t operate like it is. Don’t expect your hotel to be the equivalent of a hotel of equal value in Panama City. Accommodation will be very basic and you may well be sleeping in a grass hut with a sand floor. But I guess that is part of the attraction right? The very fact that you’re not back home and things aren’t the same. If they were, you wouldn’t have come.

Few locations include Singayta, Ecological community in which you can hike, horseback riding, cycling and rowing boats. The journey begins in the traditional village, passing through the rainforest and mangroves. Observe the flora and fauna of the area and witnessed the singing of hundreds of migratory birds.Matanche Beach, Bay where along its 7 km of fine sand can practice water sports such as sailing, jet-skiing, diving, volleyball and beach football. Something also interest in the area is the variety of restaurants offering fish and tossed the famous banana bread.

For fans of surfing, beaches like El Borrego, Matanchen Bay, Los Cocos, and Las Islitas are ideal for surfing, especially during the summer when the waves reach great heights. At the famous Ramadas (small restaurants) located at the edge of the beach you can find instructors and rent surfboards. Do not miss this opportunity!

One of the very few places in Panama where you can watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, the Sunset Coast is an undiscovered area with small towns, wide open beaches, and a small number of lodges where you can get away from the tourist scene. This is rural Panama, home to rolling hills, small villages, family farms, and huge beaches lined by palms and forest. Foreign tourists are not plentiful the way they are in other areas of the country, and many of the visitors are Panamanian. The road down to the Sunset Coast from the Pan-American Highway is twisty and has a few potholes to dodge, but every mile takes you further off the beaten track. This area is also popular with surfers. The wide-open beaches take the brunt of the Pacific Ocean rollers, and it’s rare that you’ll need to share a wave. If you want a beach all to yourself, this is the place to come. Read additional details on www.taotravel365.com.
